Collecting of waste electrical and electronics – WEEE (computers, monitors, audio and video acoustics)

In January 2003 the EU published the Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment (WEEE) Directive. The aim of the new legislation is to reduce the amount of electrical waste going to landfill, and to encourage recycling and re-use.

The new WEEE Regulations make business users, manufacturers and retailers of electrical and electronics equipment responsible for assuring that their goods do not end up in landfill or incineration, where the toxic chemicals, metals and associated solders, glues and plastics can cause environmental and health problems.

We provide the collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and we assure its proper recycling and disposal.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Management (WEEE) consists of:

  • Collecting and taking back WEEE from end-users, distributors and local providers of public services in the area of municipal waste management.
  • WEEE treatment: dismantling and separation of component parts - preparation for further treatment.
  • WEEE recovery is intended for the advantageous use and appropriateness of disposal. The objective of recovery is as follows:
    • waste recycling for processing into raw material and reuse,
    • the use of waste as fuel.
  • Removal of remains generated in the WEEE recovery process
